What happens to your image
The website loads an image into a browser canvas and creates a new JPEG, PNG or WebP file. Browser re-encoding generally does not copy the original file’s EXIF, XMP or other embedded metadata. It may, however, alter image quality, color profiles, orientation, transparency or attribution.
What the tool cannot promise
This is not a complete forensic metadata tool, a verified C2PA validator, a watermark detector or an invisible-watermark remover. Its image-container marker checks are indicative only. No common markers detected does not prove a file is metadata-free or non-AI-generated.
About AI labels on social media
Social platforms decide which posts receive an AI label. They may consider metadata, pixel-level signals, user disclosures, platform rules or other methods. This website cannot remove or override an AI label inside Facebook, Instagram or any external application.
Disclosure and integrity
Follow each platform’s policies and applicable laws regarding synthetic or digitally manipulated media. Keep original images when you need reliable provenance, creator credit or an audit trail. A different file format or export does not change where or how an image was created.
Test release
This is a free, ad-free WordPress theme intended for the project’s temporary subdomain before any later move to a separate domain. Test on real devices and verify hosting, accessibility and legal copy before broad public launch.
